Brewery Cottage accommodation is the perfect place to stay if you are coming to the area for one of the many events held in town, but equally if you are simply looking for comfortable, well-equipped self-catering accommodation from which to explore the beauty of the Cambrian Mountains Area of Astounding Natural Beauty, one of the largest remaining areas of wilderness in England and Wales, often referred to as the Welsh Lake District. Situated in the same courtyard as the Heart of Wales Brewery (hence the name), the cottage is directly behind the Neuadd Arms Hotel in the centre of the town.
The cottage has three bedrooms, a double. a twin and a single with bunkbeds, all with built-in wardrobes. The lounge has a wood-burning stove and is equipped with Freesat TV, a DVD player and a mini hi-fi system. Logs are provided for your use, though the cottage has full central heating if you do not feel like making the effort. Off the dining room is a separate entrance hall and downstairs cloakroom with W.C. The fully fitted kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine, with a gas hob, microwave and electric double oven. The upstairs bathroom has a WC, washbasin and a spacious shower enclosure. Mobile phone signal is poor in the cottage unless you are on Vodaphone, but there is a landline so that you can be contacted should you wish. The cottage also has complimentary broadband wi-fi.
Dogs are allowed but must be kept downstairs at all times. There is a £15 charge per stay or £25 for two or more.
The cottage is also let occasionally for weekends, from £285. Please ring for rates and availability.
